We had an activity in store where we had a design proposal where we had to try experience prototyping where we had the flexible reader case. We needed to test experiences where you can use this or would use this.
We started going by the dimensions given which are 20 x 40 x 5 mm so to imitate this we used paper to see how this flexible reader would hold up in different situations. Firstly when it was crowded on the elevator it was okay to have but hard to find a place you can actually put it in like the back pocket which could cause issues to the flexible reader.
We also went out where it was windy to see how it would work in that environment it was difficult to have it with one hand but it was okay/ you would be able to read from it but at the same time we were out it started to rain meaning it would have to have water proof material as well. Another pair in our group tested if it would be better to have this kind of technology over an ipad and they found out that it was easier with the flexible reader. Another thought it was better with the privacy to have a flexible reader since if someone is peaking you can have a confined space/privacy in a public place like an airport for example.
Technically I have done experience prototyping before this at the first course where we made a prototype of how interactions and if the size for buttons is good or not which makes one think of what else one does without knowing it has a specific name since in the example above we just said try to imagine the interaction with the device if it was functioning while now we have the correct terminology.
