Tangible Embodied Interaction (Week 1 – Monday)

We were presented with the glancibilty project today. An important distinction between peripheral display and glanceable display as some might have a hard time differentiating it as was made sure by David when mentioning it.

An exercise we did was user journey where we highlighted different activities we take until we end up at the university. This showed how to cut down description to still be able to tell the story or cutting down to focus on the important parts of a design. Things such as User Journey the outcome of this was cutting down the activities to the most important things. This could be even used in storyboarding the design project or even when conducting the final video prototype as we are limited to a minute video showing the scenario which means each scene should be there for a reason.

The group I am going to be a part of consists of Lucas, Miroslav, and Christian. We have different strengths which balances out with coding, ideating, drawing, writing and presenting.

There wasn’t much to reflect upon today but we will have to read the papers for tomorrow to be able to take part in the seminar as well as writing a summary for one of the papers.
