Netflix Gesture Exercise

We were introduced to an assignment for us to mainly get acquainted to putting clips together

Looking at the different gestures, it could possible be a very simplistic since they are gestures that are very possible made by mistake. For example, the skip gesture could be not as helpful since if there is a fly and you try to slap it away it would skip the episode that you are watching. On the contrary, all the gestures could be easy to understand and use since it is logical. By moving you hand down; it lowers the volume, by moving the hand upwards it will higher the volume. These movements could be made by mistake as well for example if you are going to scratch your head it could conflict with this gesture design. For the mute I chose a similar gesture to that in music where sometimes they clinch their fist to signal a stop in action i.e. in choirs. An issue could also be if you are trying to catch something like keys or a small object so it would mute the show that you are watching. For the Pause and Play gesture I decided to have it similar to how you press the same placement of the button in video mediums, so I decided to for it to have a similar user experience by doing that gesture to play or pause.
