We got an assignment where we needed to build on one of the given prototype videos seen on the slides were were given and build on with a new consumer use and make a video of it. In the beginning we decided to give ideas on a few of the products that we thought were feasible to make something new out of. We choose to build on Morphee since we wanted to work on making a patient arm band.
While presenting most people understood the different points in the story line. But one person was not sure if the person went out of the hospital and was still being monitored, maybe we could of had the shot where she sits down because it could be a jump. Another thing that some people did not get was that I was a nurse since I had a tag with a red cross so maybe that scene we could have been a longer scene since there is a text message on screen which has the most focus. People thought it became hectic when the crisis was presented which was an intention that wanted the audience to experience.
It was pretty impressive what you can do with the use of film as a medium to express a story in less than 60 seconds. I can relate it to making music, since I have made songs where they are less than 2 minute songs which I think connects to have what I need in a song by setting the scene and a deescalation which is similar to the an 4 bar intro and a 4 bar outro of a song.
